About the department
In the Supply Chain Data Intelligence department, you will be working in a team on the frontier of bringing analytics solutions to the production and supply chain areas. Using the growing data landscape within Novo Nordisk, we carry out complex analyses and build data-driven tools to deliver business insights and value to different departments within the organization. Our ambition is to use the latest computational tools and techniques to help create a future-ready and intelligent supply chain.

You will join a diverse team consisting of colleagues from several different countries and will be supported by our Supply Chain Experts providing solid supply chain understanding, Data Engineers providing analytics-ready data as well as other Data Scientists.

The position
You will join an agile delivery team and support our journey towards the next level of analytics by building data models and dashboards as part of high impact analytics use cases or as part of your own data assignments. You will work with Business Intelligence and visualization tools with the possibility to add more advanced analytical techniques. You will be involved from ideation, development and deployment of models across our global supply chain.

Besides the analytics work, you will be part of a central function defining the development standards, participating in communities and engaging with analyst across our global supply chain. You will be working on specific use cases in sprint style as well as various ad-hoc data-related tasks.

Qualifications
You have a degree at minimum master’s level in e.g. Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar with excellent results and a natural flair for data.

  • Proven passion for generating insights from data to enable insight driven decisions¨
  • Min. 2 years of relevant analytical experience.
  • Comfort manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable way
  • Understanding of supply chain management, hereby processes, network and end-to-end trade-offs
  • Experience with analytical and visualisation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and it comes naturally to you to test new techniques, tools and ways of working. We expect you will be good at what you do and have an eye for details. You have a burning desire to learn new things and are curious about the processes and people you work with. You can work both independently and together with others.
