About the department
Diabetes Finished Production (DFP) Strategy & Operational Excellence is a part of DFP Business Support located in the Bagsværd HQ – an international and high-performing area consisting of around 25 people from approx. 10 different countries. The Strategy & Operational Excellence department is responsible for driving the direction and strategy implementation for the Diabetes Finished Product organisation. To ensure DFP stays the competitive choice for Novo Nordisk and delivers robust performance, we need to partner with the business to support and enable business decisions – thereby impacting the strategic outlook and decisions for future actions.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive the digital transformation of DFP Business support through implementation of relevant BI solutions.
In DFP Business support we are responsible for driven different strategic breakthrough targets, for which transparency, mindset change, and insights are needed. We will be relying on your analytical skills to understand a complex business setup, facilitate strategy development and to drive bold targets for our business as well as for an even stronger LEAN culture. You will be the key data owner of this development in DFP.
As BI analyst, you will transform data into insights that are translated into business value. You will be a key player on the team, being the responsible to identify trends and opportunities that can help specific business areas and senior management to drive the right decision towards optimisations and improvements across business processes in the organisation.
You will be expected to navigate and partner with a broad and complex stakeholder portfolio, focusing on data analytics and creating transparency on operational challenges. Therefore, the role requires a combination of strong analytical mindset and data-oriented background, with excellent communication skills and problem-solving expertise.
A large part of the objectives can be met by developing or implementing new ways and methods and incorporates a high degree of change management and motivational work with stakeholders. There might be some travelling to meet and work with our global sites.
- Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant subject. You have evidenced excellent results and performance in your current job.
- You work easily with IT applications such as Excel and PowerPoint and see challenges such as technical troubles or knowledge limitations as an opportunity to learn more. Proven knowledge in data preparation, blending, and automation tools such as Alteryx and Tableau will be highly considered.
- You have solid language skills in English and strong communication skills written and verbally.
