In Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) we are ready to digitally transform our business and how we operate. To help us succeed, we are looking for a person who can drive the data foundation of the organization and can take the us to the next level.
As our new Data Analyst, you will be a key player in creating a strong GCM data backbone, which will enable us to have better transparency of our supply chain. You will be a key person in improving our integration with external manufacturing organisations all around the world. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for building new solutions, which would provide GCM with the right visualisation and analytics tools in order to facilitate the decision-making process on topics such as: inventory forecasting or supplier performance monitoring.
In this position you will work with the latest technologies and you will have the opportunity to learn thoroughly our IT landscape and the supply chain footprint of Novo Nordisk. Your success is dependent on your collaboration skills and ability to understand your stakeholders as well as the processes and data.
We expect you to have:
• At least Bachelor’s degree, e.g. within data science, IT, engineering or similar
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within analytics, business intelligence or similar
• Hands-on data management experience with relational databases such as SQL server
• Experience using Analytics tools such as Alteryx or PowerBI to develop and optimise data workflows
• Ability to translate complex logics into data solutions that can be used by the decision-makers
• Fluent in English, oral and written
Preferably you also have:
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Experience in creating data warehouses and working with data manipulation and unstructured data
• Experience within Agile working methodologies e.g. scrum, SAFe

About the Department
The position is in GCM Business Support where we are 7 people and a team of interns who are supporting the line of business. We are responsible for all back-office processes across GCM e.g. budgets, business plan and risk reporting. We provide various types of support to the GCM CVP and management and we have the responsibility of evaluating and introducing new technologies to GCM. Furthermore, we are the daily partner to our factory in Japan, KFA.
GCM Business Support is part of GCM, who manages Global Contract Manufacturing for Novo Nordisk offering alternatives to internal production while ensuring that we deliver high quality products that are in regulatory compliance at cost effective.
