About the department
In Biopharm, we manufacture quality products for people living with chronical diseases like haemophilia, growth disorders and various hormone imbalances. Through many years of dedicated effort, we have been able to automate our production to a high degree, always looking for better ways to do things.
Our department Biopharm New Haemophilia Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) in Gentofte purifies high quality products for treatment of haemophilia. As data engineer you will be part of the equipment team in the department, with close contact to all areas of the organisation.
As a data engineer you will be responsible for the department data strategy and play a key role in defining and implementing manufacturing intelligence initiatives in our production, including identification of data and optimization potentials. You will play a key role in our journey to deliver infrastructure development and work on establishing a foundation for the use of data from our production machinery and processes for data-driven decision making.
In the role you will be collaborating with automation specialists, data scientist and experts from shop-floor to understand the potential of data usage for process improvements. An important part of the role will be to establish data foundations in relevant formats and systems to create the desired dataflows. Furthermore, you will take part in our journey to increase data availability and improve visual management across the CVP area.
You have a Master’s degree within Engineering, IT/Automation, Computer Science or similar. We imagine you have a good theoretical grounding in the structure of databases, collecting and distributing data for visualisation. We expect you to have relevant experience within data analysis, data accessibility and data visualization.
The ideal candidate has a good understanding of manufacturing intelligence and Industry 4.0. You are analytical and logical in your way of thinking. Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau/Grafana is an advantage but not a requirement. You preferably have experience with Excel (VBA), SQL and Alteryx.
You are self-driven with a ‘can do’ mind-set and see yourself as a fast learner with a solution-oriented mindset. Great interpersonal skills are a must since the job will include considerable interaction with stakeholders and specialists across the organisation. Proficiency in English and Danish both verbally and in writing is a prerequisite in this job.
