Then the position as a Data Engineer in our Business Innovation and Transformation team (BIT) within Device Manufacturing and Sourcing (DMS) will be something for you.

DMS has embarked on an exciting journey within Manufacturing Intelligence, enabling better and faster decision-making based on data to optimise production efficiency and we are looking for a Data Engineer to further strengthen our team.

About the team

The BIT team includes project managers and colleagues with a more technical focus and thus handles a diverse range of tasks. The team works with technologies within manufacturing IT and as part of the digital journey we are adding new, digital solutions, including Cloud based services (e.g. AWS), process automation and AI models.

The team is located at our Manufacturing site in Hillerød.

The position

You will in collaboration with your colleagues be responsible for the development and operation of current and future Manufacturing Intelligence solutions in DMS. This includes tasks such as connecting and monitoring data sources to facilitate data analytics and machine learning.

Qualifications

You hold a M.Sc. or B.Sc. within Process Engineering, Computer Science or similar, preferably with a background in automation and digitalisation of production and manufacturing. Relevant experience in data engineering will be valued, however, both experienced candidates as well as new graduates will be considered.

You probably have:

  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g. JavaScript, Python)
  • Knowledge of Cloud Platform (e.g. AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of Streaming Analytics
  • Knowledge of BigData Analytics
  • Knowledge within Relational and Non-Relational Databases
  • Knowledge within Production IT (e.g. PLCs, MES, SCADA/iFix)
  • Experience with Agile, LEAN or DevOps
  • Fluent English (written/spoken)

As a person, you have strong communication and analytical skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead projects in your past assignments.
