About the Company and Department 
Nordic Bioscience is a world-leading research driven biomarker company, which offers proprietary disease activity biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis of various chronic diseases.

The division Nordic Bioscience Laboratory (NBL) located in Herlev perform clinical sample measurements for external partners, such as CROs, Central Labs and Pharma/Biotech companies. The laboratory subscribes to the highest standard being a CAP-accredited laboratory, where you will be an important player ensuring data integrity and data flow together with the rest of the Data Management team and in close contact with our Data Science and IT departments.

We are in a process of automatizing and digitalizing our data handling within the laboratory and across the house, therefore we are looking to expand our Data Management team with a knowledgeable LIMS Specialist to help us accomplish this assignment. The Data Management team currently consists of three dedicated team members who are responsible for data reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. The team report directly to the CLO (Chief Laboratory Officer) which offer much influence and impact in affecting work processes within the laboratory and across the house.

Your responsibilities
As a LIMS specialist, you will be working to optimize and develop our LIMS system, ensuring data integrity and accurate data-reporting of the highest quality to our many customers, in close cooperation with our DataManagers and DataScientists groups.

You will be responsible for maintaining and develop LIMS daily and offer superuser assistance to your colleagues in the laboratory. You will implement best-practice data solution based on input from stakeholders and be able to translate operation needs into digital workflows. Additional duties will include maintenance and further development of internal operational standards as well as participate in GxP software validation.

You like to work independently as a specialist, and you possess strong coordinating skills and can handle projects with several highly educated stakeholders within other departments. You are innovative in solving everyday challenges, identifying best practices, creating improvement in methods and techniques.

  • You hold as minimum a MSc within IT, natural sciences or similar
  • Knowledgeable with LIMS (Visual Basic)
  • SQL experience
  • Minimum of five years of data management and/or related work experience preferably in a clinical research organization, pharmaceutical or biotech environment
  • Working in a GCP regulated environment will be considered a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Insight into data architecture and IT infrastructure
