Welcome to IT Organisation, Process and Governance
Your new Operational Insight function will be a part of IT Organisation, Process and Data Governance, a staff function reporting to the Group CIO in DSV.

In total, the department consists of 50 Danish and international colleagues, and many of us have been here for several years, because we enjoy the energy and the professional development that comes with being a part of a growing company. And we are aware that this growth can only continue if we stay adaptable and keep on prioritising the necessary technical investments.

You will manage 1 newly hired reporting specialist who will do the actual reporting. We imagine that your team will only expand from there, since this area will become more and more important as our business continues to grow.

Establish uniformity in our non-financial KPI reporting
As you enter this position, you will spend the majority of your time building an internal service function that is able to work centralised using Microsoft Power BI to manage the data connected to our KPIs for IT operation.

As soon as the right processes and governance are in place, an important area of focus will be to establish and maintain good relations to the colleagues that our new function will support. These will be operational IT managers and colleagues from all over the global organisation who are responsible for reporting in Power BI.

Some of your tasks in this regard will be to:

  • Set the agenda for how we manage to shape our local reporting after global standards
  • Ensure the transparency of the analyses that the new service function will produce to support the entire company
  • Be responsible for the professional development of the reporting specialist

You find motivation in creating a service function that will be highly appreciated by your colleagues as their requests are transformed to valuable support. At the same time, you are good at prioritising your time and effort, since there are many different needs across the organisation and many stakeholders will require your assistance.

Furthermore, you are excited to build a new function and are strong at developing the concepts, models and governance needed. And you are organised enough to keep your head clear as your function keeps growing, also when you need to manage several tasks at once.

Professionally, we imagine that you:

  • Bring solid management experience from a KPI/reporting function in large-size company or a role in a leading consultancy company
  • Have a technical mindset enabling you to manage the full data lifecycle from source to publication
  • Are a superuser of Microsoft Power BI and hereby able to set direction and governance for the newly established team at the centre of top management attention
  • Are able to design a strong service organisation earning their mandate by the quality they deliver.
  • Speak and write English fluently – Danish is not a prerequisite
