The Product Manager for our Personalized Omnichannel product stream is a pivotal role to drive the strategy for Pandora. You and your team will be at the heart of our Data & Analytics strategy working on products that use technology to inspire customers, increase convenience, alleviate staff, improving the in-store experience. You will define the strategy for products that target & distribute content to consumers across channels and steer consumers into the best fit, by leveraging data. Your products will drive an online flagship store experience for our website, with experience-based and personalised functions.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of Data & Analytics products and will be managing a team of Product Owners and Data Analysts. You and you’re team define the products, vision and roadmap with features for delivery and have a deep understanding of the strategy.

Further to this, you will:

  • Work closely with function area users across the organization to understand information requirements and ensure the Data & Analytics and Business strategy are aligned.

    Understand what the customer needs, define features, determine success criteria and validate solutions all based on business value.
    Serve as a key player and support analytical projects to identify business opportunities and areas of improvement for the organization and translate business challenges and opportunities into a proposition for data analysis
  • Analyze and communicate success, performance, time to market, quality and team engagement metrics to stakeholders
  • Partner with architects and peer Product Managers to analyze the customer landscape, understand enabler work, and plan for capacity and priority.
  • Build an effective team with high performing Product Owners and/or Data Analysts
  • Conduct training and provide support to business users
  • Build ongoing engagement with senior stakeholders and make sure we build world class analytical and data products that drive business value
  • Instil a collaborative, sharing and agile approach to enable the team to quickly adapt to business needs
  • Formalise workstreams, key products and initiatives to ensure alignment to business roadmaps. Keep roadmaps on track and ensure stakeholders are taken on the journey to delivery
  • Plan according to Pandora’s yearly critical events and clusters specific calendars to ensure appropriate insights are in place to service management requirements e.g. Product Launch Effectiveness, Black Friday, Singles Day, etc.

What is needed to succeed:

  • 3+ years working in Product Management or similar position, with minimum of 2 years leading a team
  • Experience in a data rich retail business with a Global organizational structure
  • Exposure in Retail or Wholesale industry is highly preferred
  • Experience of working in an Agile development process a strong advantage
  • Experience in building product roadmaps and driving a product vision with senior stakeholders
  • Seasoned in analytics with a solid understanding of key trends for the specific Product domain – Personalized Omnichannel journey.
  • Excellent stakeholder management. Energetic with good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as confidence to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Strong analytical skill set with a clear business impact focus
  • Background in delivering commercial benefits through embracing data
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence and implement change in a Global and Cluster setting
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions across business units to build trust and confidence in data driven decision making through to results evaluation
  • Willing to challenge the status quo to deliver insightful findings that will give new perspectives and discoveries
  • Ability to quickly translate and map business strategy into an information strategy with a focus on reporting & analytics, and able to speak the language of analytics to non-technical stakeholders
