The team
For Deloittes internal digitalization department, D@D – Digital at Deloitte, we are searching for a skilled BI/Analytics professional who knows his or her métier within Microsoft BI. We offer a job where you will have a high level of influence on how to do your job, and where you as a specialist will have an active voice when we make decisions. We work cross functions and borders, but always with the same delivery model. You are encouraged and expected to contribute to an innovative culture where we help each other to think and deliver in new and improved ways. The team consists of approximately 30 specialists with BI and DW as part of this. A team where knowledge sharing is a strong part of our culture, both internally, externally, and across Deloitte at a global scale.

Exciting tasks await you
Being responsible for driving and implementing the BI- and Analytics solutions for our “customers in the business” is your core role. You will be an integral component of a strong team where you will take part in all phases – from analysis, design, development and test to roll out. We work agile, based on SCRUM, and will be trained if you do not yet master this method.

We will count on you to take joint responsibility of our Data Warehouse, cubes and our PowerBI Premium platform, and to be a technical lighthouse with a good feel for the business perspective.
As an in-house BI/Analytics consultant you will interact directly with employees across Deloitte. In close collaboration with them and our business developers we support the business agenda, the technical development, and help build and improve the foundation for our innovative and data driven solutions.

You have the following skills and experience
You are considered a team player but with individual qualities, and you are the person people go to when they want an honest and competent answer. You are proactive, a good listener (‘2 ears, 1 mouth’) and easy to interact with, and it comes naturally to you to grasp complicated business challenges and to translate it into the efficient information architecture. It will be considered a big plus that you have an ambition to drive the development from traditional BI to a more Analytics focused approach.
You might already work as a consultant or work in an internal BI department, and have a proven track record with Data Warehouse, cubes and PowerBI.

Technically we expect you have solid skills when it comes to:

  • Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Microsoft Front-End tools and Analysis Services Tabular
  • MS PowerBI
  • Statistics and reporting
  • Experience with cloud technologies will be a plus

On a personal level we prefer that you are driven by doing things even better than we did yesterday. You are curious and that you know to grind when needed and invent when needed.
