We are looking for an ambitious and high-performing student to join our team. Here your role would be to assist your colleagues throughout the Global Planning & Optimization department. You will be in charge of data handling and reporting as well as more administrative tasks, coordination, and planning.

Global Planning & Optimization’s focus is to deliver on our promise to customers and partners. We work closely across Supply Operations and with commercial and research functions to understand customer demands, manage production capacity, and phase products in and out of production. Based on this information, we outline cost-efficient production plans, manage net-working capital and perform long term capacity planning. In collaboration with the commercial divisions and research unit, we also manage product complexities and lifecycles. Does this sound like something you would like to take part in? In this role you’ll make an impact by:
In this role, you will make an impact by ensuring a high level of quality and compliance within the department. You will also help us ensure knowledge is shared across the organization. Success in the job requires the ability to learn fast and to have a strong and structured problem-solving approach.
You will in the first 4-5 months be working closely with our other student assistant to ensure that you are well prepared and learn about the insights of our organization. In this period, the workload will be around 8 hours per week. After this point, the average time commitment in the position is 12-16 hours per week. The workload will vary, and we expect mutual flexibility for you to solve tasks timely and at the same time attend exams and perform academically.
To succeed you must:
- Be studying in your second or third year of your bachelor’s degree within engineering, supply chain, data science, business analytics, or similar with top academic performance.
- Have excellent skills working with Excel and Word.
- Be fluent in both oral and written English
- Have a flair for handling big data and perform analytics.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a data-driven approach.
- Be a quick and proactive learner with good communicational skills.
- Be a good team player who is also able to work independently and taking responsibility for key deliverables.
- Have drivers licence.
It would be an added benefit if you have some basic chemical knowledge, but this is not a requirement.
