In Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) we are on a digital transformation journey in order to leverage the way we operate our business. To help us succeed, we are looking for a person who is driven by data insights and who is ready to take us to the next level.
As our new Data Analyst, you will be a key player in creating a strong data backbone and reaching our ambition of a full end to end visibility into our supply chain. You will be a key person in improving our integration with external manufacturing organisations all around the world. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for building new solutions, either through data analytics or through other technologies that can enable the optimization of our processes and improve our integration with our external partners, which would provide GCM with the right visualization and analytics tools in order to facilitate the decision-making process on topics such as: inventory forecasting or supplier performance monitoring.
In this position you will work with the latest technologies and you will have the opportunity to learn thoroughly our IT landscape and the supply chain footprint of Novo Nordisk. Your success is dependent on your collaboration skills and ability to understand your stakeholders as well as the processes and data.
We expect you to have:
- At least Bachelor’s degree, e.g., within data science, IT, engineering, supply chain management or similar
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within analytics, business intelligence or similar
- Experience with ETL and visualization tools, preferably: Alteryx, Tableau and/or PowerBI.
- Proficient knowledge of SQL with hands-on data management experience with relational databases such as SQL server
- Ability to translate complex logics into data solutions that can be used by the decision-makers
- Fluent in English, oral and written
Preferably you also have:
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and understanding of supply chain concepts
- Experience in creating data warehouses and working with data manipulation and unstructured data is a significant advantage
- Experience within Agile working methodologies e.g. scrum, SAFe

About the Department
The position is in GCM Business Support where we are 8 people and a team of interns who are supporting the line of business. We are responsible for all back-office processes across GCM e.g., budgets, business plans and risk reporting. We provide various types of support to the GCM CVP and management and we have the responsibility for driving the digital transformation of the area. We work closely with our lean partner to ensure unlock the full potential of digitalisation.
GCM Business Support is part of GCM, who manages outsourced production from project to operations stage. We are office based with shopfloors at CMOs on a global scale. Collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally is crucial in order for us to succeed. We want to unleash the full potential of sustainable external manufacturing to reach more patients faster through flexible production and strong relations.
