We are looking for an experienced Head of Analytics who has a natural flair for seeing the whole picture and a strong ability to credibly guide people to ensure that they focus on the right areas at the right quality. The Head of Analytics will partner with senior studio and marketing leadership to deliver the data insights necessary to create the best player experiences. You will set the vision, strategy, and action plan for analytics. You should have a strong analytics / data science background, preferably in the area of gaming, entertainment or consumer products where acquisition, engagement, and monetization are key considerations. You should be an expert in analysing data and translating this into digestible reports, giving actionable data and insights to our development and marketing teams. Overall the Head of Analytics will foster the culture to support data-informed decision-making throughout Sybo.

Responsibilities:

– Drive the interpretation and adoption of operational reports and performance dashboards to monitor KPIs for acquisition, retention and monetization of players

– Analyze gameplay and economy data to understand how feature, content and balance adjustments are impacting overall player experience, before and after game launches

– Analyze game and player data to establish customer segmentation models to help prioritize and customize game features and content

– Use predictive modelling to establish behaviour patterns that assist with player churn prediction and hacker/fraud management

– Perform cohort and segment analyses to better understand our audience and identify trends in player behaviour

– Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast LTV, player engagement and retention

– Define and action the data roadmap and strategy in collaboration with development and marketing teams

– Communicate actionable results and findings derived from data throughout the organization in a clear and concise way

– Recruit, develop, retain and motivate our talented team of data analysts

– Size opportunities and effort to ensure product and analytics teams are prioritizing the most impactful work

– Partnering with data engineering, ensure our data and analyses are timely, reliable and accurate

– Work with the finance and games teams to create and implement a rigorous methodology to forecast revenue

– Manage the cost base for analytics to ensure optimum value for money

Requirements

– Strong leadership and execution skills. Track record of building and managing high-performing teams and ability to deliver short-term wins while building towards larger strategic vision

– Experience instilling a culture of ownership, collaboration, and delivery

– 7+ years experience in quantitative analysis roles, ideally in gaming, entertainment, technology or consumer product roles

– Excellent communication skills, capable to present findings to both technical and non technical audiences and to all levels

– An advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related field

– Expert in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets with a variety of tools
