You will be part of a small and dynamic team creating and maintaining data solutions, reporting and business intelligence analytics for our Collateral Management department in the Large Corporates & Institutions unit. You will be working with 2 dedicated colleagues in the centre of Copenhagen. Our solutions are used for automation, reporting and to facilitate daily margin calculations on the majority of the bank’s derivatives, repo and securities lending business. We also support the Clearing and Third Party teams in Collateral Management and are continuously expanding our activities in these business areas.
Role and Responsibilities
As part of the Collateral Intelligence team your daily tasks will include
- Ensuring that collateral data is ready and margin calls have been sent in the morning
- Maintaining and supporting the existing data solutions for the Collateral Management department
- Setting up new reports, checks and solutions to improve and expand the automation level in Collateral Management
- Using your programming background and business insight to facilitate the dialogue between the IT department and Collateral Management
- Cooperating with the Collateral and Third Party service teams in the department to effectively improve processes around data and reporting
You will ensure that Danske Bank’s counterparties and third party clients get a continuously improving service level by helping to optimise and continually develop our data and reporting setup and IT platform.

Combining financial markets knowledge with coding skills
You have recently graduated with a degree in a field such as economics, finance or IT. You come with an analytical nature and some coding experience using SQL and at least one other programming language (preferably C#). Knowledge of financial markets products like bonds and derivatives is not required but would be an advantage. You have an innovative and outreaching attitude and you are a good communicator at all levels being fluent in both English and Danish.
It is very important that you are a strong and independent team player who sees the value in sparring and knowledge sharing while also acquiring knowledge on your own. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo, helping identify areas or processes that could be performed smarter, keeping focus on the details without losing sight of the whole value chain.
