Our Digitalisation team focuses on supporting KPMG’s audit processes with digital solutions that focus on Data & Analytics, Process mining, etc. We keep our finger on the pulse of the latest technological trends and capabilities in order to deliver efficient and value-adding solutions to our clients. Our approach is both innovative and structured – we offer you the freedom to come up with new ideas and provide a framework for you to improve existing solutions.
Making sense of Big Data
As a student assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with all aspects of the Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) process .
Specifically, you will assist our team with the following:
- Design of workflows/scripts for data extraction and data transformation in Alteryx, SQL or similar software.
- Data extraction and data transformation based on data sets from various ERP systems
- Process mining – including creation of data models, data interpretation, etc.
- Design and creation of dashboards in Power BI
You will join a young and open team of 12 people who live and breathe data. Half of us work full-time on technical solutions, and the other half help our audit teams implement and use our digital audit solutions in their audits.
About you, our newest team member
You find large data sets exciting, and you already have experience with the following:
- Excel – advanced user
- Data extraction and data modelling using SQL
Additional experience with Python, Alteryx Designer, RStudio, Microsoft PowerBI or process mining software is a plus but not required.
You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree such as Computer Science and Engineering, Business Analytics, Business Administration and Data Science (cand.merc.data science), Business Administration and Auditing (cand.merc.aud.) or similar.
You will be expected to work approximately 15 hours per week. We are flexible regarding your weekly schedule and during exam periods.
