About the department
The Diabetes DK Planning team is anchored in the Operational Planning department and is overall responsible for API planning, production site transfers, master planning of the Danish sites and bulk planning.
The department Operational Planning is part of Devices & Supply Chain Management (D&S). D&S is representing one of the seven senior management divisions within Product Supply (PS) and employs over 2.000 employees. D&S is responsible for devices and the supply chain management across PS. PS has a global production network with production sites in e.g. USA, Brazil and China.
As our new supply chain analyst you will have the overall responsibility for coordinating bulk shipments between the different production sites both, covering the productions sites in Denmark, USA, France and China amongst other. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
- Balancing demand and supply, ensuring that we always have a healthy stock projection of bulk available at the sites.
- Proactively follow up on both demand and supply, and that it is aligned with the production agreements
Head up weekly meetings with the site planners to identify and solve issues
- Follow up, challenge and develop weekly KPIs
It is expected that you can work independently and are highly skilled at stakeholder management, as you will be working with stakeholders from S&OP, logistic areas and management at the production sites, purchasing and finance.
Additionally, you will also be working as a sparring partner for global supply chain projects to improve our planning processes and systems.
We expect you to have more than 3 year of supply chain experience and have a relevant university degree preferable in Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar. You have excellent data, presentation and analytical skills and preferable has previously worked with operational or tactical planning and SAP APO.
The candidate we are looking for is good at communicating on different organisational levels, can take initiative and be proactive, have no problems with working independently and is excellent at translating complex situations. You have the ability to quickly change gears from being deep in analysing data to taking fast decisions to looking for elements of the supply chain to optimise.
Lastly, as the Diabetes DK planning team is an international team with a global footprint you must be able to speak and write English fluently.
